Terms of Service

By creating an account and using Private Tab, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Private Tab is a web-based point-of-sale and bar tab management application for private bars and members clubs. The service is provided on a subscription basis.

To use Private Tab you must:

• Provide a valid email address
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of your organisation
• Keep your account credentials secure

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Private Tab is offered on a monthly (€19.99/month) or annual (€179/year) subscription basis
• All subscriptions include a 30-day free trial. Your payment card is required at signup but will not be charged until the trial ends
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time through the billing portal in Settings
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

You agree not to:

• Use Private Tab for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the system
• Reverse engineer or copy the software
• Use the service to process payments on behalf of third parties
• Share your account credentials with unauthorised users

Your use of Private Tab is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you enter into Private Tab. We do not claim ownership of your bar data, sales records, or customer information.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Private Tab is not liable for:

• Loss of revenue or profits
• Loss of data
• Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Fail to pay your subscription fee after the grace period
• Use the service in a way that could harm other users or the service itself

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting contact@privatetab.app.

We may update these Terms of Service with 30 days notice. Continued use of Private Tab after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Timisoara, Romania.
